House Rules – Heartbreak Hotel
Dear Guests,
We want you to feel comfortable at Heartbreak Hotel and enjoy your stay in a relaxed atmosphere. To make this possible for everyone, we kindly ask you to follow the house rules below.
By booking and staying at Heartbreak Hotel, you agree to these House Rules.
General
Please treat the rooms, furniture, equipment and common areas of the hotel with care.
If you are missing anything, notice a defect or need assistance during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can help.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all other guests included in the booking comply with these House Rules.
Check-in and Check-out
Self-check-in is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Guests may check in at any time on their scheduled arrival date using the access information provided before arrival.
Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM on the scheduled departure date.
Late check-out is only possible with prior approval.
Please make sure to take all personal belongings with you and leave the room in an appropriate condition when checking out.
Noise and Consideration for Others
Please be considerate of other guests and our neighbours at all times.
During nighttime hours in particular, we ask that noise in rooms, hallways and common areas be kept to a minimum.
Loud music, disruptive behaviour or other significant noise disturbances are not permitted.
Repeated or serious disturbances may result in the immediate termination of the stay without a refund.
Use of the Rooms
Rooms may only be used for accommodation purposes and by the number of guests included in the booking.
Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted without prior approval.
Parties, events or larger gatherings in rooms or common areas are not permitted.
Furniture, equipment and other hotel property must not be removed from rooms or common areas.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any rooms or indoor areas of Heartbreak Hotel.
Please only smoke in designated outdoor areas.
Cigarette butts and other waste must be disposed of properly.
Guests may be charged for necessary special cleaning or damage resulting from violations of this rule.
Pets
Pets are only permitted in rooms specifically designated as Pet-Friendly Rooms.
Pets are not permitted in any other room categories.
Guests travelling with pets are responsible for booking a Pet-Friendly Room.
There is no separate pet fee. Guests only pay the applicable price of the booked Pet-Friendly Room.
Please ensure that pets do not disturb other guests and that common areas are kept clean.
Any damage or extraordinary soiling caused by pets must be reported.
Damage and Extraordinary Soiling
Accidents can happen. If anything is damaged or extraordinary soiling occurs during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible.
Guests are responsible for damage caused intentionally or negligently by themselves or other persons included in their booking.
Reasonable costs for repairs, replacement or extraordinary cleaning may be charged to the guest.
Cleanliness
Please leave your room in an appropriate condition.
Waste must be disposed of in the designated bins.
Items that may cause blockages or damage must not be disposed of through toilets or sinks.
Please report any extraordinary soiling as soon as possible.
Safety
Please make sure your room door is closed and secured when leaving the room.
Access information, codes or keys provided to you must not be shared with unauthorized persons.
Escape routes, stairs, doors and emergency exits must be kept clear at all times.
Tampering with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers or other safety equipment is strictly prohibited.
Open flames, candles or similar fire hazards are not permitted in the rooms.
Common Areas
Please treat all common areas with the same care as your own room.
Personal belongings must not be permanently stored in hallways, entrance areas or other shared spaces.
Please leave common areas clean and tidy after use.
Parking
A large free parking area is available directly at Heartbreak Hotel for our guests.
Parking is free of charge during your stay.
Please park only in the designated areas and ensure that entrances, access roads, emergency routes and other vehicles are not blocked.
Vehicles and belongings left inside vehicles are parked at the owner’s own risk. BLACOON RETREATS AS is not liable for loss, theft or damage unless liability is required under mandatory applicable law.
Personal Belongings
Please take care of your personal belongings and valuables.
BLACOON RETREATS AS is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings unless liability arises under mandatory applicable law.
Access to Rooms by the Hotel
We respect the privacy of our guests.
However, in urgent situations it may be necessary for us to enter a room without prior consent, including in cases of:
- Fire or safety risks
- Water damage
- Technical emergencies
- Suspected significant damage
- Immediate danger to persons or property
Access may also be required where necessary to fulfil essential operational or legal obligations.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited:
- Illegal activities
- Possession or use of illegal substances
- Violence, threats or harassment
- Deliberate damage to property
- Tampering with fire protection or safety equipment
- Behaviour that seriously endangers or disturbs other guests or employees
Serious violations may result in immediate termination of the stay without a refund.
Complaints and Problems
If something does not meet your expectations or you experience a problem during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible.
This gives us the opportunity to investigate the matter and, where possible, resolve the issue directly.
